Irwindale Event Center is pleased to present this schedule of up-coming events for our Street Legal Dragster facility. The 1/8-mile Drag Strip is located on the grounds of the 1/2-mile Irwindale Speedway at 500 Speedway Drive in Irwindale, California.




2013 SUMMIT RACING SERIES SCHEDULE

Irwindale Event Center Dragstrip will host a 5 Race Series with all races counting toward the Championship; points will be awarded as outlined in the NHRA Rulebook.

Race #1 Sunday March 10 Race #4 Sunday June 9
Race #2 Sunday April 14 Race #5 Sunday July 14
Race #3 Sunday May 5 Race #6 Sunday August 4
Gates will open with Tech and Registration at 8AM and the Driver's Meeting will begin promptly at 10AM.

Super Pro 5.50 – 7.49
Pro 5.75 –8.59
Sportsman 7.50 – 12.60
Pro Bike 5.50 - slower
Entry Fees:
Again in 2013, NHRA Summit Series racers will be charged a one-time fee of $50.00 for bonus Summit Series Points if they chose to purchase them.
Racer joins the team race #1 100 Bonus Points
Racer joins the team race #2 75 Bonus Points
Racer joins the team race #3 50 Bonus Points
Racer joins the team race #4 25 Bonus Points

Summit Series competitors not paying the one-time fee prior to race #4 will still receive their regular points but will not be eligible for bonus points.

Bonus points are NOT retroactive. The points are awarded based on when the bonus points fees are received.

Bonus point funds will pay for the Top (5) racers in each class entry to the 2013 Summit Series Finals. Racers finishing in 6th place or lower will pay their entry fees for the 2013 Summit Series Finals.
