Irwindale Speedway & Event Center Alters 2019 Schedule

(Tuesday, September 10, 2019) Irwindale, CA– I.S. Management is pleased to announce that they have reached an agreement that will see Irwindale Speedway host a major motion picture production this fall. As part of this agreement, the 2019 schedule of events for Irwindale Speedway and Dragstrip will see some alterations.

The changes are as follows:

-October 26th“Night of Destruction” has been rescheduled, with the events of that date being consolidated into the Oct. 12 “NASCAR Night” and the previously scheduled Nov. 23rd“Night of Destruction”.

-The October 24thand 31st“Thursday Night Thunder” events at Irwindale Dragstrip have been rescheduled. and will resume its normal operation beginning November 7th.

-The November 2nd“Saturday Test-N-Tune” at Irwindale Dragstrip has been rescheduled and will return December 7th.

“We are thrilled to be able host yet another major production at Irwindale Speedway, as it is instrumental in continuing operation of this facility for many years to come,” stated I.S. President, Tim Huddleston. “We appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding regarding the adjusted 2019 schedule, and look forward to resuming normal operation on November 7thfor Thursday Night Thunder.”

About Speedway: Irwindale Speedway is located at the 605 Freeway and Arrow Hwy.  Featuring both a 1/2 and 1/3  mile oval, along with an 1/8 mile dragstrip. Irwindale plays host to a variety of motorsports themed events including NASCAR Whelen All-American Series and NHRA Summit E.T. Series action.
